Today, I took Mandarin outside, and my neighbor saw him. He said they had two as well, saying they were told they were both males. I know Mandarin is a male after sexing him. This was his first time seeing another dragon since i got him, so it was an interesting experience, he was all black bearded and climbed off my shoulder and ran to one of the dragons and went on its back and was about to bit its neck. From what i thought, it seemed like that how they proceed to mate, but then again i could be wrong. First off his son, is assuming they are males cause his friend told him that, but i don't really think that's the case. Anyways I'm sure they a dragon can tell the difference between a male and female, but at 12 months do dragons breed? And why did he keep his black beard for so long, it was like a few hours, he did a lot of head bobbing as well.I took him off before he bit or did anything. Just curious about what happened.

I didn't expect it to happen. I don't plan on breeding, but it was just weird to see him act so aggressive all of a sudden, maybe its because i don't get to see his interaction like that when another one is near by. Thanks for the help though.
