I'm finding the other forum slightly unhelpful. I dont think they read my posts properly and dont take in the lots of info i give them and instead assume i'm a know-nothing.
Basically I had 2 females together, both fully grown now. As far as i knew they got on really well together and always have. Until yesterday. I had them in a tub together whilst i was cleaning the tank, and the younger attacked the older female. The older female is the one i'm breeding and waiting for eggs, and its been a few months since she was mated and still no sign :|
I have never noticed any bruises on her before, and i check her regularly since she was mated. Unfortunately i found bruises on her tail. I split the girls up straight away

which is upsetting but it had to be done.
Is it possible the younger female had been bullying the breeding female this whole time? or atleast since she was mated? And that is a factor as to why there is no eggs yet? I'm hoping this was the case and now I've separated them the female can produce eggs in peace.
I'm taking her to the vet on friday for a check up, make sure no damage was done.
It's sad because she keeps looking at the other female in her separate tank

I suppose i was naive to think it would never hapen. It just goes to show that even with geckos, which are supposedly ok to have a colony of several females together, not all will get on.
