Well maybe its Beardy to Beardy but mine loves them.

Not to many risks actually, a pinkies bones are softer then a superworm shell and they eat small rodents in the wild.
my thing with pinkies is the nutritional content and the fact they are cartilage which is tough to digest...beardies may eat em in the wild but look at their life span out there compared to captive....just my feelings on it...like i said its ur beardie so u make ur decisions on it

I am extemely new to owning a dragon so for them I'm not sure. BUT..... I owned iguanas years ago and had a few rescues to care for. Because of this I will tell you what I know about iguanas and mouth rot.
Mouth rot is very hard to get rid of and affects their eating. I was lucky to live close to a herp vet. ( Dr. Jansky in S.C.) They gave our sick iguana actual shots to clear up the infection. They even sent us home with a weeks worth and showed me how to do it. Mouth rot needs continuous medication to cure. AND it is contagious! If you have other dragons keep everything seperate and scrub, scrub, scrub all bowls and such.

having had rats for years previous, I would prefer not to give Stubby pinkies. He loves his silkies,a dn we treated him to two horned worms yesterday. He wasnt crazy about those - not like the silkworks. I think were going to just basically give him all the silkies and greens he wants for the next while. He is def waking up, he ate a ton of food yesterday and his lip already looks almost completely better!
