.. Eat meat? Or are there some that just eat plants, fruits, and veggies. And if so, what ones can you have as pets?

There is a decent selection of reptiles that are herbivores. Iguanas of all kinds, uromastyx, and chuckwallas are a few that come to mind. They are also all available as pets.

Thanks, i was looking up the Uromastyx. But i haven't heard about the chuckwallas. The only reason I want a herb. is because i dont always have the time to go the the store and buy crickets, or worry about it when im out. I just think a herb. will be a bit easier. lol. Ill take a look at the chuckwallas. And are the uromastyx or the chuckwallas agressive at all? Cause i have a bearded dragon, and mine wouldn't hurt a fly... well, maybe some crickets. BUT not a fly! .

uromastyx can be a little skittish but not aggressive usually and chuckwallas i have no personal experience with so i cannot say but from what ive heard they are mildly tempered as well...uromastyx have somewhat of similar care to beardies but require a dryer environment and much higher basking temps...the problem with them though is that they can be quite pricey depending on the kind you get and a good amount are wild caught or poorly farmed

I was going to look in the adds in the paper for breeders or something. Cause when I go to any pet store, they are full grown. And i would rather get them as a baby. And do you know if two uromastyx can be kept in the same tank if i buy them as a baby? And when they get older? would i have to separate them? Also, what is a rough estimate of the price of one as a baby.

housing more than 1 together is never a good idea, they aren't communal animals no matter how young they are when you put them together...you wont find many breeders since they are extremely difficult to breed in captivity...here's a breeder who actually has very healthy captive born and bred babies for sale http://deerfernfarms.com/

His site should tell you where he is from. Honestly off hand I do not know. You can always contact him and ask.
