As long as you've stopped feeding them and they're pooping normally I wouldn't worry about long term effects. It's possible but not as likely as it would be if they hadn't gotten any other feeders. If they're housed together, please separate. Dragons are solitary animals that do best when housed alone. Housing together leads to intimidation, failure to thrive, fights that result in injury or death, and if they're opposite genders breeding too young and too much.

Being told you can house them together is very poor advice. In the wild dragons are solitary animals only coming together to mate. If you continue housing them together they will fight possibly with one of them ending up dead at the very least extremely injured.

Very serious matter that you separate them.

No need to feel guilty we all started somewhere, usually with the poor advice of a pet shop and learned by our own mistakes.

Don't feel bad. Your being productive about it, you obviously love your babies. Joining us is the first step in the right direction.

No reason to feel bad. We all made mistakes when we first started out. Separating them now will do them both a world of good. When they're first separated they may go through a period of stress - appetite will slow down and they may want to sleep more. This is NOT them missing each other, it's simply their way to deal with any changes in their environment. Many new keepers separate and misinterpret this stress as missing each other, and put the dragons back together. Doing so almost always leads to one or both getting hurt or even killed in a fight.
