why do the beardies darken?  what does it mean when they "bloat??" in the tub.. and are stiff??  i never fill the water up above his shoulders and it perfect temperature..Huh  what is a 3rd eye?? i noticed the spot on his  head.. is that it?  what does it do??  is it ok if it gets wet?

They darken to absorb heat or UVB, or to show that they're not in a good mood, or don't feel well. They bloat to allow them to float or swim - not all dragons do it, and some do it only once in a while. The 3rd eye is the spot on their head, and it allows them to sense heat and shadow above them. It's fine for it to get wet.
