A glo or a sun ?  The glo isnt such a great tube, and the 2.0 isn't really enough for much of anything when considering dragons.

I personally have found all those to be nothing less than garbage for bearded dragons... I bought a fixture from Walmart ( or home depot for the MVBs) for less than $11.  Remove the lens, and using wood screws, adhere it to the back wall, then thread the cord out of the enclosure, and plug it in... took me like 5 minutes all total.
The Walmart fixture is made by Lights of America... Wink

lol... ok well i did the same thing with my first home made enclosure. but since i got it for FREE i might aswell enjoy it. like with ur post are u implying i should throw a 60 dollar product away because its garbage but still does a very efficient job of lighting my cage. lol i believe where i was going with my post was any experiences, negitive or positive. now if u tell me u have owned one and it broke i would respect ur garbage comment haha but u didnt u just told me what normal people on a low budget would do. and thats exactly what im used to but since i got this deal im confused where ur going wtih ur statment haha. i was wondering how productive the lighting cycles are in promoting the breeding process of two beardies.

janie dont take this the wrong way, i appreciate how helpful u have been trust me i honestly was just shocked lol i mean its a cool product it has 3 circuts 10 12 and 14 hour schedule and prob does more things than i have even figured out cause im manuely flippign the switch on and off for the night and day.

also i know the repti glos are shitty soooo everyone says repti sun tubes are legit what kind and where? petmountain.com im in nor cal humboldt county area.

I tend to use that same fixture over my geckos... Black light in the tube area, and two ceramic heating elements in the bulb area... lol...
