hey im new to this stuff of breading and have afew q? my bearded layed an egg today much to my surprise and then has not layed anymore how long should it take till she should start laying agian?

i never even knew she was preg. and looking at her stomach i can only see about 6 eggs by touch . how long should i wait till i take action on the egg bound prob.?

will do . and yes she has been with a male i have two pairs and for a while was confused on there sexs after find out i put her(2.5yrs) with male (1.5yrs) but had no idea they had started breeding till i cleaned there cage and soaked them ..left house ..came back there was a single egg in water bowl

so whta should i do ?i have two sets 2 males an 2 females and only three tanks i can leave my females together huh? its been bout 20hrs since she layed her first egg since being in lay box she has not dug or layed any more but she ate (pinky)

Did you watch her the whole time? They bury the eggs and sometimes you can't tell that a hole had been dug. I would dig in the laybox to check for eggs. Often they'll stop eating prior to laying and not eat again until they're done.

dangerous why? she still hasnt dug, called vet said to give her 24 to 36 hours then bring her in. why havent i had any probs with them sharing the tanks together? not aggressive at all. just doing the mating thing biting behind the neck. we got the 2 males together from a friend and they have been in one tank their whole life about 1 year.

also FYI 9 months to a year is when the testosterone will hit the males....they won't like anyone or anything...let alone a cagemate
