Erm just wondering about the best way to set up a undertank heater? there sitting on top of my wooden viv at the moment and i don't wanna burn the wood what can i do to protect the wood what can i put underneath it to protect the wood?

Hey Peter... Just use some dowel rods or similar material to raise the tank off the stand, just a bit... that way no worries...

i was just wondering if your talking about hermit krabs or just a hermit crab heater...if hermit crabs them when they burrow they'll get burned.....try putting the heater on the side of the tank......if its not to late

mmmm.... it depends how warm are the temps at night? if there the same as the as the day then yes but dont let it get to cold! Grin happy to know i helped lol
