G'day mate,

I like BTS as they are the only one of the two I can get here in Aus. They pretty much have the same requirements as beardie in husbandry which could be a bit more expensive than leos. They are pretty hardy and more forgiving in husbandry requirements than beardies with mistakes and can live for up to 15+ years with the correct conditions. They are great handlers as well better than beardies IMO. Sorry don't know much about leos.

Leos are great too Smiley
Require a 20 gal for adult (at least), same substrate as beardies (ceramic tiles, paper towels, or newspaper), no lighting needed, just a heat pad (they use belly heat), and just some hides. And they only eat bugs. I can go more in depth about their care if you would like.

Thanks Grin  I think its gona be a gecko seeing as I have an empty 20g and the blue tongue might get to big to quick. I've been doing alot of research on both and the leopards seem very low maintenance. And its so cool the way they smile at you. So no top light at all? And they do require a water dish? If i'm dusting cricks with calcium and multivit do I still need to put a dish of calcium in the tank? i reall apprecieate every ones time and input Thank you

I keep calcium without D3 in the tank at all times, and change it out once a week.  I also give my leos roaches, darn if they don't love those more than crix !
