Sorry about that but I needed to get rid of my excitement before I go to the car dealership lol.  I might be going home with a new car if they give me a good deal.  I've narrowed my choices to a Ford Focus or a Toyota Matrix and I'm going to the Ford dealership tonight (my secret weapon is that I really do have a friend with a Matrix and she loves her car).   Grin

Its a tough decision.  Go American or buy the Toyota as they have a great reputation.  Good luck! Smiley

I have a Focus, I love my Shiva. For a small car its turn radius is surprisingly large. You will get good gas mileage. Mine gets about 400km city 600Km highway for a 40L tank and I am a gas burner. The new Yaris kicks my cars butt but I am sure a newer focus would have better mileage.

I have never driven a Matrix, I just remember them feeling small when sitting in them.

This is basically it:

http://www.oakridgeford.com/new-inventory/2010-Ford-Focus/1a644ca34046381e0143691d763753e8.htm#

but black, a little cheaper, much much better rate, and a bunch of freebies thrown in (including a set of snow tires).

I'm thinking about not telling my mom (I've already left a message saying guess what I bought) and when I see her next month I'll see how long until she notices the new car lol.   Cheesy
