i heard somebody say something about if the fat pads on a beardies head are big then they are fed well.
is this true? because i feed my dragon kobe a lot. like salad is offered all day and i let him eat as many crickets
as he wants twice a day. but they look depleted to me so im not sure whats wrong... i also bathe him on average
of 3 times a week at least.

This is a photo of Yardley... Year old + You can see his fat pads behind his eyes on his head in this shot... fairly decent sized.

This is Gem...9 months old. also you can see those fat pads...
Does that help ?

The pads do not just expand above the head. They actually go 1/4" or so in to an indent in the skull. I have seen beardies with no body fat at all and they look really bad. Sad

Deff put a pic of your beardie up for us though if you are worried.

That would be very helpful, this is the first time I've heard of the "Fat Pads" and as I tend to worry about the health of my little one, I'd like to get an idea on if she's got decent fat pads
