Hi, I could use some help.

My female (~2 years old) has been trying to dig (I use newspaper) in her cage a lot more lately and also "cage dancing" on the glass. I'm getting worried that she might possibly have eggs? Can a female who has never been with a male (I did get her ~3 months old) really lay eggs? I've seen it said on a few sites on the web but I trust this site the most. I don't have a box for her to lay eggs in, how long can she "hold" them before getting hurt? Do I have to figure this out tomorrow? So busy!

Just make a mixture of potting soil and play sand, equal amounts, moisten it so when you pinch between your fingers a drop of water comes out, place that into a bin of some sort with the lid cut an opening half way.  Place a clamp on shop light with a 100w bulb, place your girl inside, and wait until she "back fills" before removing her and giving her a bath.  Is she still eating like normal ?

along with wat janie said, yes a female who hasnt been with a male can lay eggs...they wont b fertile but they can lay them...usually if shes at the point where shes digging alot you can either see or feel the eggs pretty well
