Odd behaviour...at least for my two adults

Ever since Kinky woke up from brumation he's been wanting to mate like crazy. One of the things he does besides head bobbing is stalking back and forth frantically and poking his nose against the glass towards Xena. I didn't witness this myself but apparently Xena did the frantic stalking and Kinky arm waved back! Later that night I saw Xena do the stalking back and forth and she even head bobbed. Kinky head bobbed back.
I have a few theories (some of which are serious):
1) Xena was asking to be put in with the guy "who does this"
2) There was some sort of space/mind warp and they switched bodies
3) They were having gender identity crises
4) Xena was getting annoyed by all the extra head bobbing lately
I think I had a few others but I can't remember what they were. In any case I think I'll put up something to block their view for a while and hopefully I'll be able to take it down soon.
Any thoughts?
Alara.

I have two males who just woke up and this years seems to be just like years previous. They start off slow but within a few days to a week they are going CRAZY with that same kind of behavior. There will be lots of head bobbing, beard displays, foot stomping, and some arm waving back and forth between the two. This behavior is natural for them, when they come out of brumation they are refreshed and rejuvenated and all about wanting to mate.

Xena didn't brumate and I've never seen her head bob before. Kinky hasn't arm-waved since he was a baby. But they do seem to keep coming up with new (for them) things.
Good to know I don't have to worry.

generally what you will see (at least what I have seen) is:
Fast head bobbing and/or fast waving = dominance
slow head bobbing and/or slow waving = submission
I've also noticed that my male will hold himself up high while the female will flatten down

Xena had always seemed to prefer the bowing and lifting her tail method. Kinky had always seemed to prefer head bobbing.
I feel a little bad with them having extra mating urges. I wish there was beardie birth control and then I could take them both out for some together time to get it out of there system and put them back in their enclosures lol.
