For some reason my bearded dragon has not been eating his crickets.  I usually give him 30 a day ((15 morning 15 night.))  Ive had him for about 4 weeks!  I started offering him vegetables today and some of them where oranges/celery etc.  But he just won't eat it!  All his temperatures in his enclosure are correct 103 degrees in basking and 74 degrees on other side.  He is still very active!  I have also kept him hydrated.  I have a UVB light on him and I put vitamin D on his food, so i'm giving him enough vitamin D. He has also not eaten his food for about 4 days now  Huh, any help please?

BTW, his names Tarzan  Smiley

My baby BD loves butter lettuce and collard greens.  I posed a similar questions because my baby does not like fruit at all.  I was told keep giving the fruit because eventually she will eat it. How big is the food you are give giving him/her?  I cut mine in tiny squares. I also feed some of the veggies to her by hand.  The celery might be to hard. As for the fruit I have tried different melons, blueberries, and bananas.  Next I will try an apple.  Hope some of this helps.

I cut the food half the size in between his eyes.

i realize this is a hard question to answer because you simply may not know but how old is he? young dragons usually dont eat veggies very much until they hit the 18 month mark. Around that age they begin to notice veggies.

here is a nutritional chart for beardies, to help you pick out acceptable foods

I'm not sure on the vitamin D part. do you mean a multivitamin? are you dusting with calcium?

also, here's the forum's caresheet. hope it helps you out
