the price gave me pause for a minute i'm not into horses but i work with several people who are and they've been telling me the horse market has had the bottom drop out and people are pretty much giving their horses away so they can stop feeding them. I was surprised to see this is not the case here, although admittadly i have no background on what makes a horse valuable perhaps it's a rare breed. The people i work with have been coming back with stories from a large animal auction they attend that you can pick up horses almost for pocket change anyone else follow the horse hobby that can confirm this or debunk it?

I haven't been to an auction since the late 70's, so I'm no help there! But honestly, it wouldn't surprise me any. You can google horse auctions and get those results and go to one near you to see... Auctions are always very exciting... Janie.
