Hi guys

My beardie had an RI and a high coccidia count in her poo sample. The vet gave me 2 courses of meds to clear up the RI. As my vet lives 2 hrs away he said just send in another sample of the poo once the second course of meds is over and if its clear all is good.

The poo sample i posted to the vet came back negative. does this mean that the RI has cleared as well?? i understand that usually beardies can get the coccidia count under control once the RI has cleared up but just double checking!!

I could be wrong on this but I don't think you can tell if there's a respiratory infection from a fecal sample.

thanks for the response...... she doesnt have any inflamation or any mucus in her mouth apart from the usual...... are they meant to have quite dry mouths or is it usual to see strands of salivia..... what i mean is that sometimes when i blow on her face she opens her mouth and u can see strands of salivia from the top of her mouth to the bottom but they instantly disappear.... they are also od clear colouration..... what colour would the mucus be?
