The BD I have had been without a uvb light and the correct temp for a long time.  When I got him he was close to dying.  I couldn't take him to a vet.  We immediately set up a proper environment, nursed him back to health on silkworms with calcium powder and the proper temp., etc.  He definately has come around.  It has taken about 6-8 weeks.  I really thought he would die.  But, his appetite seems normal and he's shedding and growing and moving around.  BUT his hind legs never recovered!!!  He still drags himself around.  Does anyone have a BD like this?  or know anything about this?  Will he ever regain use of his legs.  Will he live like this forever?  Will it shorten his life?

Thanks
