hi guys

just want to know how rigid this 18 month rule is when it comes to feeding cecil. she has just turned 18 months. still eating 30 to 40 a day of anything I put in there and is just not interested in veg unless she is hand fed. i offer her veg everyday and shes knows where it is but she wont go for it. i have bright colours in there as well a bit of apple juice for aroma but nada!!! i have never made it a habit to hand feed her so she cant be used to it! as some of u know she was sick for ages and has only recently got her appetite back in the last month! could this be the reason and therefore should i feed her longer until she naturally slows down. the thing is that she is actually waiting for her live food! and that is from morning but i offer her veg in the morning and feed her live food in the evening when i get back. she is obviously starving by the time i get home as she has not touched her veg!!

what do u think guys??

Is she still thin from when she was ill? She may be just craving the protein to try bulking back up if she hasnt eaten properly for a while.

Thanks PF! Just as I thought! She must be just catching up for those months she was ill and she is now going through her first body shed since last year which. I was expecting this at some point as she is really packing on some weight now!

Hey Chris! Yeah she well is truley over her illnes now so I am sure she is just catching up for some lost eating time!!
