YouTube vids aren't a great source for info on beardies. Just look how many videos there are of beardies on sand, in a cage with another beardie or beardies being fed mice just to name a few.
Beardies come in all different colours, from the normal brown/yellow to bright orange or red or others. Sexing a beardie can't be done by looking at the colour of their beards.

You should take a look at our caresheet. I read in your other post that you leave your heat light on all night. That's not good for your beardie. It interrupts his/her sleep cycle. http://bearded-dragons.com/boards/index.php/topic,8.0.html is our caresheet.

He said mouth ROT and he was talking about discolouration in the mouth. Also that so called 'expert' is encouraging people to feed their dragons mealworms, keep them on particle substrates and keep babies in 10 gallon tanks (20 gallon is the minimum size required to create a suitable temp gradient). I've also seen him pick up a baby beardie by the tail in one of his vids.

Places like this are the best place to get your info from, Youtube is really not a reliable source Smiley

expert village is one of the WORST youtube channels to get info from...i had an ongoing debate with one of the people on beardie care and they know nothing...they dont even practice the "old" way of caring for beardies its awful...theres very few good care videos out there...i made a bunch in hopes people would find the videos and get better info from me and what ive learned from sites like this and my experience...i also wrote a book on beardie care too..if u want i can send u the link to it if u want more in depth info on beardies
