Okay, my girl is 4.5 years old and has always been housed alone - no boy beardies in this home.  She just laid 3 eggs...definitely not good, soft shell, yellow and poorly shaped.  My question is - what in the world do I do with her?  This has never happened to me before and I just want her to be healthy.  I am not sure if I was supposed to or not but I did give her a bath in hopes to make it easier on her and I couldn't feel any eggs in her belly but I am thinking that because they are so soft I wouldn't feel them anyways.  She doesn't look any different and hasn't been acting any different either.  Her belly isn't swollen at all.  Is it normal to only lay a few eggs and be done if it has never happened before?  Any advice is welcome - I doubt I could get her into a vet until Monday and would have to find one in my area.

Females can and will lay unfertilized eggs.  You should make her a nest box, with a playsand/potting soil no fertilizer/chem mix,  enough water so when you pinch it, a drop of water comes out.  Most will use a rubber maid container 18 gallons is big enough, with a clamp on shop light, 100w bulb angled to hit one side of the box ( the side the soil mix is on) and let her have at it.  She most likely won't be interested in food or drink until she is done.  Once she is done, the bring her out, give her a nice long bath, and a good snack with calcium, and she should be back to her self in a few days.
Hope this helps out !
Janie.
