Heat Mat

Hey im new to the forum and just wondered if i needed a heat mat or not???.... at night my house is roughly 19 c (66 f)....i just worried cause ive seen the majority of people saying that it can harm your Beardie and its not needed.
Ive already brought it and am going to keep it just incase i do end up needing it.
I have a wooden vivarium (thin wood at the back which is where i would put it)
And the Bearded Dragon i will get is a baby although i havnt got it yet.
erm thats all i can really think of telling you that might help you answer my question if there are any more things you need to know feel free to ask

Thanks i think i will attach it to the back of the viv for now and turn it on at night or have it on a timer see how it works out, and if its getting to hot turn it off....i have a mate who works with reptiles in a pet store so i will also ask him tomorrow as well what he thinks i should do.
