 Heres what I hope ends up being a pair of ackies. These two were hatched late october/early november. I'm hoping to get some eggs this year. If not......theres always next year Smiley

 Yes you can hold them. They're not as calm as beardies. Beardies will sit on your shoulder or in one spot, but ackies want to go. I rarely touch these guys, yet when I do, they never hiss or bite or get defensive. They just try and get away.

They're beautiful. I want an ackie, but don't have the space atm Sad Once I get a house though, it's gonna be packed with reptiles lol

Ohhhhhhh JOoooooooooooohnny, the house down the road is for reeeeeeeent Wink
Huge house too !  almost 2k square feet of dragon accessable viv room Wink
Oh and there are 2-3 bedrooms, not sure of the amount of bathrooms, and it is in the county, not the city !

I'm a newcomer to the site.......Maybe this is a stupid question..... You don't say that there from different clutchs...................... ....... So can you breed them from the same clutch?

Are they very active?

 Hey big al,

 The ackies are active, but they hide more than beardies. Beardies don't hide often, and the ackies spend a lot of time under ground. When they are out, they are very active. They have a high feeding response. If I open the enclosure for anything, they come out and check out what I'm doing. They are very curious Smiley

 They are from the same clutch. There are not a lot of pure red ackies in the states, and they are all related.
