If your going to keep him his requirements should be fairly simple. A hamster cage with bars close enough together so he cant squeeze himself through, with a water bottle, an exercise wheel and a nesting box. Feed him on rodent food (don't know if they do any specifically for mice) and give hm lots of nuts, fresh veggies and little scaps of whatever your eating as treats  Grin Put wood shavings in the bottom of his cage and use a shredded tissue type bedding for his nesting box. Stay away from the cotton wool stuff they can choke on it.

Don't know if hat helped you at all but there ya go  Cheesy

I found a mouse in my house once. I kept him lol. But he was in my glass reptile tank, with bedding and ripped up toilet paper and a cardboard tube for his nest. He was so cute, I named him Mr Jingles!! lol. I kept him til after winter was over, and when it came warm enough out, I took him to the woods and let him go. I never handled him or tried to make friends cuz I knew I was letting him go come summer. He didnt even look back when I set him free! lol

lol. When I first read the title of the post, I thought she was going to do just that.

That would have totally freaked me out walking in there and unknowingly finding a mouse in the sink!  I'm sure the little guy can survive though, he'll just find a new spot in somebody elses home.  Tongue

A mouse had fallen into a recycling bin (a small office one) at work.  I called the appropriate people but they didn't come until near the end of the day so it was my pet for a day.  I figured they were going to kill it so I fed it some chocolate covered almonds as a last meal.  When the guy finally came and saw that the mouse was alive and unharmed he told me that he'd release it into a field a few kilometers away.  Even if he was lying (I hope he wasn't!) that made me feel good.   Smiley
