Is there somewhere that, for at least a few days or so, we could view older topics to see answers to our questions?  I'm not usually abnormal on this, so I'm assuming others would feel like I do that there are some things we were looking forward to reading.  Thank you!!

Sorry it sounds like any back ups of the data base we had are now incompatible with the software and the old data base was lost. Looks like we are starting over.

I want to see the old database restored just as much as anyone else does. Unfortunately, it's not looking like it's going to happen. I'm still trying but it's hard to even put into words how badly it's messed up. This wasn't the only site to take the hit so I bet there are a lot more people upset about this than we can even imagine.

starting fresh isnt bad. we'll just sticky what we had important to the tops, and the people we had will come back, post count and ranks doesnt mean anything really.

I can put "hi""lol" or something along those lines on everythread and i will be a hero. I might not know nothing about dragons but all the newbs will listen because im a hero member... catchin my drift?

well put it this way, yes you have earned it crystal, along with many others and most know most by name basis rather than screen name. even though you werent classified as a mod yesterday, we all still knew who you were, we still know your dragons, we still know you very educated on dragons and so fourth, even though you werent of rank, you still earned all of us knowing you. Not just to you crystal but to everyone that contributes decent information, and also those newbies that are willing to drop everything they know and learn. we could have absolutley no ranks no post counts, and no mods, CM's ect and you would still be the same person as when you were a mod, because you have earned being them. You earn from good info and help not rank.

Well is there some way that can be reflected other than #'s of posts ?  Moderators/Administrators ?
I know I am a newbie still, though I hope I reflect that I have learned and am still learning from all of you!
I just think that instead of the #'s of posts reflecting knowledge (?) perhaps newbie-beginners; intermediate- with experience; experienced- self explanatory.
