its good he is eating locuts mealwarms are the worst thing to feed them they are high in phosphours and their shell is very hard for them to digest. as for the digging im not sure

Read the caresheet and see if your temps are right. basking spot should be 110*-125* for proper digestion and your cool end of the tank should be around 80*. When u get your temps use a probe thermomater or a temp gun. And do u have UV lighting? If so what kind? It sounds like someone must be off in his viv. If its not that....I have no idea. But there are more people on here more experienced than me!

Honestly, it sounds like a female that needs to lay. Read through the breeding 101 thread on the breeding board to learn how to put together a laybox, and put your dragon in it.
Please stop feeding mealworms. They're very high in fat and hard to digest. Crickets, locusts, and silkworms are all great feeders available in the UK.

well thats what i thought female but ive taken him to a few different shops and they all say hes a male its all a bit confusing   he always bobbing his head and for some rerason loves sitting on my mrs pregnant belly lol but is it worth doing a laybox as its not been around any other beardies

I would not necessarily trust shops.  If you put your beardie on a flat surface and lift the tail to take a picture people on here would be able to tell you.  As for the laybox, even if your beardie has not been with another they can lay infertile eggs.
