i was told my beardie was a boy when i first got it at 3months old {guess got it at a pet store} then i was told it was a girl cause i lokked like that. now i just red that if there femoral pores are more pominent its a boy. and it has a very black beard when it gets mad. i will post a pic if you like once i can im jus confused{sorry for the bad spelling have tummy flu up all night sick}

Hi,
just to let you know, you are not alone, I thought my beardie was a boy for 3 years, then she laid an egg....
If you can, I'd take a picture of your beardie, of the backside lifting the tail slightly and you can post it and others with more experience can help you out. Both male and female bearded dragons can make their beards black. Slither does a black beard and a head bob when she's mad at me and wants more worms.
