Housing 2 bearded dragons together is not a good idea.  They will eventually fight no matter what combination of genders.

along with the fighting problems with male and female is over breeding or breeding at too young of an age if the dragons arent 18 months or older and atleast 350 grams

another issue with housing multiple dragons together is the likelyhood of passing an illness to another...you will definitely notice one thriving over the other even if u see no "fighting", dominance issues arent always easy to see i strongly advise you against housing dragons together

Beardies are solitary creatures and only come together for breeding and then go their separate ways. I highly recommend not housing any together.

there are people whom have had success with housing two females together (only combo with any chance of working never male female or male male)
these people that made this work were very experienced keepers/breeders with years of experience in dragon behavior.  also they were using huge tanks over 100gallons for the two.  you would have to make sure they were the exact same age/size/and weight.  and at any signs of dominance you would have to seperate.  you will also need to know what signs to look for that show dominance.  one laying on top of the other is not love it is dominance, one chasing the other is not fun, one not eating, or one not be able to bask are all signs of domninance.  you would need a hug tank as listed above and two of everything.  two basking sites of equal temp with equal access to uv light.  two hides that are identical.  two food dishes for their greens.  and you would have to feed them outside of their tank as you would chance one attacking the other if fed together.

this is just a taste of it.  it is not something i suggest but you asked if it was possible.  i wouldnt suggest for anyone to house beardies together as the chance is not worth it.

In my opinion it is NEVER a good idea to house more than one in a tank. I knew a very experienced keeper who housed two females together and swore they were fine. The lady and I debated this rather heatedly for a long time. After her housing the two females together successfully for over two years she came home one day to find one if the dragons dead, the other dragon had the tail of the dead dragon hanging out of her mouth.

Thanks for all of the advice. I will definatly not be keeping them together. I still want to get 2 but was thinking about having seperate vivs and stacking them. Do you think this would work out?

Yes that should work fine.  I am planning the same with my 2 dragons.  This site crossfireenclosure.com is great for building your own.
