hi,

My beardie has recently become really nasty. He keeps puffing, hissing and biting if i go anywhere near him. Hes usually very nice and very tame. Hes 2 and a half years old. I havnt changed any of the cage or his food. Hes also been hiding in the corners of his cage. He isnt going through a shed either. Im in england so its starting to get warmer here and he has just started to sun bath- heard that this can make lizards change temperament, is it true?

Thanks for any help.

weather can sometimes alter their behavior but that seems more of him not feeling well...if its possible try to get a fecal exam done because this might b a case of parasites...also you say everything is perfect as far as husbandry...double check the caresheet on the forum to make sure

Thanx. Going to go to the vets after the bank holiday. Cant find anything different from the care sheet. Started to have to use gloves to get into the cage because of his biting. Not going to let him sun bath for a while to see if it makes any difference.
