SO Ive been reading that u need to incubate the eggs once the girls lays them...i was just wondering howcome? What happens in the wild when they lay them and there is no incubator? I know this is a silly question but i was just wondering lol

they are laid in a desert area underground and then barried.  packed soil holds warmth and moisture so humidity is ok.  but also in captivity there is a much higher hatch rate than in the wild due to continued care for the eggs.  female beardies have no maternal instincts and basically lay their eggs and never think of them again.  Now you dont need to incubate them if they are not fertilized (she hasnt been with a male) you can just toss them out.
