i have a lil dragon too, she's about 4 months old and when i got her she was very active, but after a while she seemed to get lazy and i noticed she wasnt really using her back legs although she was still pooping. her problem was a nutrient imbalance, i fixed up a mxture of calcium, electrolytes, and vitamin d3 into some vegetables baby food and gave her a couple dropper fulls with her meals and she perked up in about a week:)

I totally agree with Perfectly_flawed, and second that idea.  Check the care-sheet and do a fecal test.

You can also try Para-zap.  Para-zap is made of 100% natural ingredients, and overdosing is not a concern. Para-zap is a food supplement, not a medicine or drug and can help with lethargy, appetite loss, and parasites and more.  It's very safe and effective.

I use it as a food supplement occasionally, and dose a bit more heavily anytime I think there's a problem with one of my beardies.  It's a great route to take before you try some of the more harsh medications. When using Albon or other hard medications, use Para-zap to counter the side effects, which happen to be appetite loss, and lethargy.

You can get a jar for around $20 delivered and it will last you a year or more.  You make the powder into tea; and Dragons require so little of it, just a few drops.

Check it out, it's really worth taking a look at ... http://www.parazap.com

Hope this helps

Well It's worked great for us. We breed and raise a little over a thousand hatchlings per year.  We like to think of ourselves as more nature-friendly people.  We steer more towards natural remedies and holistic approaches, rather than harsh chemical manufactured drugs.  De-wormers and parasite treatments,Ivermectin, albon, etc. are very hard and toxic chemicals.

All natural, non-chemical wormers have been in use for 1,000's of years without any toxic effects.  Wormwood is an excellent anthelmintic and also an effective tonic for the whole digestive system. You must have a large, constant dosage before you start to run any risk from toxins.  Unlike Albon that will kill an animal with a wrong dosage.

Before you judge, let me just explain why I trust this medicine.

We had a 4 week old baby that someone was giving away cause it was sick.  It wouldn't eat or grow. It just laid in a corner all day, and would stay out of the light. We tried different meds from the vet that just wouldn't make any difference.  We thought he was a goner for sure.

Weeks went by.  He even stopped drinking water.  We had to force feed  him water and baby food/vitamins in a plastic syringe to keep him alive.  Nobody could figureout what to do, vets, breeders, forums, I even went as low as asking pet shop advice.

Finally I found Para-zap and thought I'd give it try. Why not ? He really wasn't gonna make it much longer; I might as well.  After a week on Parazap (5 drops 2x a day and then another week at half the dosage, little Flaco ate a worm... Oh my god... after a few days he was eating two worms.  Then more... and then more and more...  Not only that, but he no longer had diarrhea, and his eyes looked more alert.  He began to perk up and chase down crickets after another week, no longer on any treatment.

I'm happy to say that now little Flaco Rojo is one of my best eaters, fastest growing, and most beautiful Red baby dragons.

I don't know what to say other than PARA-ZAP WORKED WHEN NOTHING ELSE DID !

I use it if  I ever HAVE to treat a lizard with stronger more serious medication.   As you may know these treatments also cause a lizard to dehydrate rapidly and lose appetite. They're also very hard on a dragon's anatomy.  Para-zap gives them an appetite to help them stay strong through treatment.

From a person that HAS USED Para-zap for a long time, through raising thousands of hatchlings and bearded dragons, Para-Zap works and is safe for your lizard.  I love all my dragons, they are my life,  and would not give them anything I thought would be unsafe or harmful.

This is just my opinion from my experience.  Take it for what it's worth.  I don't mean to offend, or insult anyone's intelligence or husbandry techniques.

p.s. I have no relationship with this company what-so-ever. I just care enough to share this information with whomever cares to read it.
