In Ontario in particular.  I read somewhere that you needed to have a permit to keep roaches, does anyone know if this is true?

Yes they are around here but they are a hushed topic. I have found a few places that have them for sale but they are really expensive.

My understanding is that they are illegal to own in Canada but they are illegal to import across the border and the fines if you get caught are severe. I know there are people in Canada who have them so you just have to seek them out and hope they can hook you up.

I was out that way a few years ago.  Too bad you didn't have them and also have enough to part with some back then lol.  I wonder if I would have been able to get them past security at the airport.   Cheesy

Wow I know my brother tried to sneak a leo past the plane station it was soo funny the leo was hissing it was the funniest thing. Check out

www.theroachguy.com

he is in savannah ga and will be able to hook you up with the right supplies for hissers or dubias and it is only a couple bucks more to ship to canada than it is to the states.

hope this helps. Wink
