Brumation?

Thanks for all your advice. She is not happy to have her hide removed and climbs back down whenever I put her on her basking spot. She has been frantically scratching at the floor of her tank as if she is trying to dig. As she has tiles down she is wearing down her claws quite a lot. She must be right handed as the claws on her right 'hand' look like they are worn past the quick. Will this be hurting her? and why is she doing this? She seems quite stressed. At least she is staying awake I guess!
