I read somewhere that if I starve a new shipment of crickets for 24 hours they'll eat whatever I give them? Anyone know if this is true or not?
I'm asking because the food i give them now is whole bearded dragon pellets from rep-cal, but i have to moisten them for the crickets to eat them and it makes for a big clean up and a bad smell. I was thinking of blending them into a dust almost and seeing if they would eat it like that?
Other than the pellets, what else can I feed them that I could feed them dry?

Flukers sells dry cricket food.

Personally, I just feed my crickets stuff that I feed my dragon. Greens and a little fruit. Plus I use cricket quencher so they can stay hydrated and healthy. And then I dust them right before I put them in with my dragon with either calcium or his vitamins.

I use ground up dry cat food, ground beardie pellets, and left over greens and stems from the dragons. Personally I wouldn't use anything by Flukers. They're not the best company to deal with - their products aren't the best and their business practices are downright sickening.
Yeah. I've never used Fluker's, and never recommend them to anyone.
Just regular dry cat food? No specific brand or anything?
