i need a new vet....

i live in st. louis missouri, and can't seem to find a good vet...the one i go to cost and arm and a leg because they are not specialists and have to send off the tests done on my babies...i found one that has a reptile veterinarian and he is really good at what he does, but they still have to send labs out to another vet...anyone know of one that is very reputable and good at what they do and won't drain my pocket book?
