Caccoons
«

My waxworms are all going into caccoons, which is a pain considering hey cost me £2.50 per tub. Should I just throw them away? Or could I feed my BD the caccoons or moths? It just seems such a waste. I would wait until they matamorphasised and then breed them if they were good as a staple feeder, but it seems like to much trouble to go through for treat worms...

The thing is I havn't even had them that long, only a few weeks and they usually last just fine. Maybe it's because my room has been warmer than usual?

Waxies should be kept in the door of your fridge or they will cocoon into moths. If you keep them cool they will never cocoon.

Yeh thats what i thought
Unfortunately I'm 16 and live with my parents who probably would freak if I put bugs in the fridge lol.
So I'm throwing them away then?

Do you have a basement? You could keep the next tub in a cool spot down there, that will at least slow them down.
