Crickets will average 3 to 4 weeks. That is why many switch to roaches as a staple.

I thought their life span was about 6 weeks but I am not positive. It has been a long time since I have dealt with crickets at all.

so short? I read an article recomending crickets as pets (strange I know) and it mentioned a life span of a year! Of course it could have just been a load of rubbish- but it specifically mentioned house crickets (which I think are the really anoying jumpy brown ones).  6 weeks does seem more realistic though.

They seem to live A LOT longer when you have one loose somewhere in the house.. always chirping, and you can't find the little sucker..... Shocked

I was estimateing between feeding and die offs. It could be as much as 6 weeks but I never had any last that long. Im switching to roaches completely . I have dubias  and I have 1000 lobsters and 500 turks on the way.
