My oldest is self taught but is considered pretty good. An amatuer boxer that he knows was mouthing off that a boxer can put an MMA fighter on the ground, any time, any place without even breaking a sweat. Of course, Robert had to show him how wrong he was. Robert's been into MMA for several years. I wish he could compete because I know he'd do well, but with our lifestyle that would be pretty hard for him. He'd have to choose between MMA and family, and that's something a young man should never have to do.

Robert's in the white

Do me a favor guys. If Robert knew that I was bragging on him he'd probably get upset with me. So if you comment, don't tell him that I posted anything about his fight. Please? He's bigger, stronger, and much better suited to fighting than I am Tongue

**Warning: There is a bit of strong language towards the end of the video.

Hi Crystal,
Coming from someone with scars on his knuckles from a younger lifetime, your boy has good ground skills. With some training I think he would be someone to contend within a professional circuit.

I am a huge MMA fan. My very first job was has a Karate instructor way,way back when. My nephew is now pretty active in local MMA fighting. He trains in ju jitsu mostly. I have been following the UFC since the early days when they fought in a tournament format that had fighters fighting more than one fight in a night on an elimination grid. It has evolved a lot since those days.

Great video! Looks like your son took it easy on him Smiley If theres anywhere local to train, you should tell him to give it a shot. He might regret not fighting later in life.
